The Risks and Internal Audit Event 2014

The Risks and Internal Audit Event – 2014, which starts on Sunday, May 11, 2014, is an event that aims to raise staff awareness in the following fields: (The concepts of risk and how to deal with it, the objectives, roles and functions of the Risk Management Department, the relationship between the department and other departments, the roles & responsibilities of other departments in the risk management process, and increasing the awareness of the top 10 for Emirates Transport. Internal Audit fields include: (Importance of internal controls within departments, self audit awareness, roles and responsibilities of departments towards resolving identified issues, importance of the “Amana” programme, and awareness about fraud preventions and information about fraud and governance framework). The event will also include electronic questions and valuable prizes & appreciation certificates to the winners which will be distributed in the closing ceremony in the presence of Emirates Transport General Manager.
